FANNINGS

Fannings are finely-broken pieces of tea leaf that still have a recognizable coarse texture; they are the grade of tea used in most tea bags.
DUST

Dust is a fine powder, much finer than fannings, made of tea particles left over from producing higher grades of tea.
BP1 – BROKEN PEKOE 1

Largest size of ‘grain’ particles and it produces liquors that are a bit light in body but with encouraging flavoring characteristics.
PF1 – PEKOE FANNING 1

Black and grainy with particles slightly smaller in size than those of the BP1 grade 55-60% of production.
PD-PEKOE DUST

Black and finer than the PF1. It produces thick more pungent liquors 16-22% of production.
BROKEN MIXED FANNING (BMF)

A blend of tiny bits of broken leaf often used to brew strong tea.
BROKEN PEKOE BLACK TEA
This BP tea grade is producing by CTC tea processing method. The CTC method is a faster way of producing a standard quality of tea.
This BP (Broken Pekoe) tea grade gives a very strong taste with or without milk.
BLACK TEA PF
It is a blend of the broken tea leaf grade that is broken pekoe and the fannings that is the remnants created in the sorting and crushing processes of the pekoe tea grades. It brings with it the richness of broken pekoe in taste along with the strong taste of the pekoe fannings.
